You can boot them out earlier if you want by calling a members meeting to consider a members resolution to vote a board member off,
You need a 100 members or 5% of shares on issue to do this. You must give 2 months notice and if you ask for the resolution to be included in the next general meeting it shouldn't cost anything (i think) otherwise those members will have to pay for the meeting cost.
