why not? requires a few approvals such as accc, asic, firb and fed gov, all too easy...lol
seriously, back then the treasurer said that 4 pillars was aimed among the 4 australian banks (so nab cant take anz...) but he specifically invited a foreign bank to have a go at it
again, long time ago and diff govt now so who knows what would happen
cant see accc letting SGB and WBC through to the keeper though, both too strong in nsw imo
