Ron,
Someone (well, more than one person, in fact) over the years took the trouble to share their insights and experiences with me, many which had a significant impacts on my understanding of valuing businesses, of the investment process, and the ensuing creation of wealth for my family.
At the risk of sounding dramatic, upon reflection, some of it was life changing.
I have always been grateful to them, but have no way to continually express that gratitude.
Therefore, all I seek to do is to pass that inherited experience and insight on to others, in the hope that it might also be of benefit to them, even if it is in some small, incremental way.
Of course, no one has a monopoly on getting them all right!
