Not sure if you and I are looking at the same company here.
The one I'm looking at has grown EPS by a compound annual growth rate of some 16%pa, with no recourse to shareholders for funding, in the process driving up ROE, from 10% in 2008, to around 23% today.
That seems to be to be somewhat opposite to a dog-like business.
