Just reading up on the latest range of cancer immunotherapy drugs that are starting to get approval and hit the market. It seems that Merck and Bristol-Myers Squibb are leading the way with I guess what is part of the first wave of treatments. They do seem however to work for some people but not others and don't eradicate cancer completely but hinder and in some cases reduce tumors. So still not the silver bullet but increasing life expectancy and patient comfort, energy levels etc...
I'm wondering if the more medically enlightened people here could comment as the whether the delivery method for our vaccines can be used to create something that targets cancers? A lot of the information seems to contain the same language, talk about killer T cells etc...
