The ASX rules do not reward your "passion" because companies can still raise capital and dilute your % stake in the company (by issuing more shares) to people who are not existing shareholders. But if you do, then you can maintain the exact same stake in the company. When it is profitable you will still have maintained your x% stake as you currently have now" "So any benefit to your passion in our company will be rewarded when the market finally realises", "As others who have waited and not taken the risk, will now have to purchase your shares off you direct if they want to have the benefits"? No. The risk you have taken in owning the stock ahead of other potential investors is not rewarded (under the current ASX CR rules) .... is guaranteed to reward your "passion" by a Renounceable rights issue, where is your advantage in being a shareholder ahead of someone who isn't?

I agree that CRs dilute ones holding in the company if not taken up but on the flip side the company should be using the funds to add to the asset base of the company along the way. This is as true for biotechs like AHZ as it is for the mining companies in the exploration phase.
