You cannot find the profit margin from the 4C. 4C is only about “cash flow”. The “product manufacturing and operating costs” under 4C, 1.2.(b) means the “cash” outflow for this purpose – it is how much money went out during the last quarter. It is, however not “cost of goods sold”, therefore, it cannot be used to work out margin. ASX 4C is constructed in a “cash flow” only manner and can be confusing for a lot of people.
