having initially been concerned that a non vote went to the chair... I have read it through, and the ASX meeting rules... I come to the same conclusion.
Someone not lodging a vote counts as "abstain"... it all comes down to those that take the time to lodge / present their vote... and for all that is right in the world... make your voice your own and not leave it to the chairman, even if you are voting for demerger.
