I got the keep it together booklet and read through its arguments carefully.

Initially I supported the de-merger - but I have changed my mind. MCB converted the options to actual shares.

Solar is the cheapest source of electricity now according to IEA and in the last 5 years the board has not made any direct investment in renewables or grid smoothing renewables. They keep investing in broken 50 year old power plants that break down and injure workers.

Please stop being a lazy boomer and pull your head out of the sand and consider their arguments carefully. If the de-merger succeeds they will stay invested in AGL and they will bring in more capital to accelerate investment in de-carbonization - instead of the boards plan which is to waste 400-500 million in de-merger costs and double the number of bullshit jobs ( executive positions ) to create two companies that are not fully independent anyway. ( both have stakes in each other ).

If they de-merger goes ahead they will definitely sell their stake and invest in AGL competitors. AGL will be forced to close down their coal plants early anyway.
