Just completed the long drive from Canberra to Melbourne. By the way caught up with one of our masters, Mr Totterdell91. Great guy who has not only great skills as a chartist but seems to possess a genuine willingness to share with newbies like me (/us). He had to put up with a couple of hours of me pestering him with questions & has the patience of a monk. I learnt a lot, cost me a couple of beers & I feel like I have made a new friend! Thanks totters you have given me a new appreciation of trading The Fork..
A few posts that deserve an answer (Post got long so I have inserted users name and bolded them so you may like to just go to ones that are of interest?):
5hareholder: manually drawing the p/f's; I am impressed.
10c: re Hubb has is the ability to save multiple different charts on the one instrument; had not thought of that as the advantage ? of course ? better not trash my Hubb files too early; is there a way of "tricking" PRT (love a cheat!) by saving in different formats or something? I will have a play this w/end but if anyone else knows how I would appreciate. I too like saving several versions of a chart.
STOP PRESS: could not resist & had a quick go & seems to me that you can save different charts of same share in different Lists. So if you want a daily showing p/f's you can have a "shares pf list" & if you want to look at say MAs. Have a "shares MAs" etc. I think that works?
STOP PRESS 2: mmmm that system does not work as the chart seems to update all data in the different lists for the same share; will explore further????
KookeBoy: just tried that email function; very handy. How do I send it to photobucket though??; that sounds handy for posting? Thanks for the tips post as well; just read it & some handy hints. (PS I watched your Pies last week and (unfortunately!!) I think your side is a very, very hot fav tomoz. Just a great footy team IMO.)
switchmullet: Not sure of asxstocktrader macro but so I would remember the process I wrote some instructions for myself; here they are. I hope they help; they are written for me so hope they are clear. Sound complex but if an IT novice like myself can work it out its must be easy. If any prob just post query & I will attempt to answer.
