This indeed is a stunning appointment.

What it clearly demonstrates to me is where MOZ sit in the pecking order of the emerging graphite plays.

Despite all the commentary from the naysayers there is no disputing the fact that Stephen Hunt left Magnis to join MOZ and is now in an executive capacity.

Alwyn Vorster is a very highly respected, highly credentialed mining executive. Kerry Stokes doesn’t employ fools, his performance with Iron Ore Holdings verifies this. His resume says it all.

The company has raised $4.5 million through a capital raise and I wouldn’t mind speculating on the fact that the reason they were able to attract that level of capital was in part due to the fact that some of the bigger money in the placement may have had a hand In Vorster’s appointment as I would imagine someone with his reputation would have done his DD over a reasonable period of time.

Following on from this IMO I think this all bodes well for what lays ahead with regards to news flow. We’ve all been anticipating metallurgical results at any tick of the clock and I would be very surprised if Vorster would have put his name to this if those results weren’t going to stack up or meet/exceed expectation. Remembering it wasn’t long after Hunt’s appointment we saw the first “significant flake” results released and also the release of the maiden JORC.

MOZ really is graduating to the next level right before our eyes. The calibre of management that it has and is attracting and the ability to raise capital tells me this.

IMO the stock is ready to break out from it’s recent slumber and hopefully it’s onwards and upwards from here,
