MTE have stated in early 2011 from memory that pithead costs would be around $17 - $20 per tonne. It's probably more like $22 -$25 per tonne now but we won't know til 3rd quarter this year. There are other costs to add to this figure, coal washing, rail, port etc.

Some posters like psi81 or hypermax would have a better idea from what I understand.

Don't worry about thermal coal prices today. MTE are planning to produce in 2017.
