There are some other threads like this post here that can explain the current state.
The big question is will they have enough money to carry them over until they get advertising revenue once they reach 1 million downloads & installs (they have 500,000 as of December, and will likely get 1 million around June).
I've invested before and will keep a keen eye on this one, as I'd like to see an innovative Australian company do well in the US. Could be a great success story.
