a/ If the deal is so huge why haven't insto's been the big buyers recently whilst the stock was being slaughtered?
b/ Rumour has it that the $450 million will be going home. That isn't actually to HTA. Its to Hutchinson Whampoa in Hong Kong. Anyone know differently?
c/ Why is it that all the recent buying spikes have been totally dominated by on-line brokers - almost no inst buying to be seen. Worse - the seller has been HSBC who are now theoretically short over 30 million. If its such a great deal why are they selling when they had the box seat.
d/ Given its such a great deal at this price and the HSBC seller doesn't seem to have finished why are we still waiting to see a decent crossing suggesting a final cleanout? No takers even at this price?
I don't know the answers to these but they are bloody good questions if you are going to gamble on this one???
