    The problem with spreading rumours is that the first person (On Kitco) may well have started the rumour.

    Although it is abundantly clear that it was a false one even at the moment it was uttered.

    If anyone wanted 400 tonnes of gold then the IMF could have supplied that at at a discount to the market.

    So, why go to Comex?

    There are some CB sales from time to time and I can assure you that odd 300-500 tonnes may never see the market unless it is used for manipulation.


    The market never got excited about that rumour anyway.
