Huge diamond find could be a week away, says Lucapa chief

Lucapa Diamond Company could know within a week whether a key kimberlite target at its Lulo project in Angola is the source of the world-class alluvial diamonds it has been finding nearby, Chairman Miles Kennedy told investors at the Resources Rising Stars mining forum on the Gold Coast today.
"Whatever else you are doing next week, you should be keeping a very close eye on Lucapa," Kennedy said.
"We could be looking at the world's richest, most valuable diamond pipe.
"If that is the pipe that is shedding the diamonds we are finding within 500m of it, then hold on to your hats."
