I am extremely surprised that the share price is now closer to 3 than 4, given the uncertainly over IP has gone. It is just incredible.
For those who have not already built a material position in Sirtex, now it is the time to buy. I think this window of opportunity wouldn't last long.

Singapore's population is only a few million people and approx 500 people in Singapore have liver cancer in a year and in 80% of the cases surgery is not an option. So the potential market for sir-spheres can be UP TO 600 units a year in Singapore (400 * 1.5, 1.5 being average of sir spheres pe patient).

Sirtex sold approx 2000-2100 unit of sir-spheres last year.
Given the population of US & Western Europe, you don't have to be a genius to work out that the potential upside is huge.

I take comfort from HH's belief that Sirtex worth at least 1.5 billion to a major drug company which means a substantial shareholder knows the value of Sirtex and therefore the chances of a major drug company taking over Sirtex on the heap is very unlikely.
