The individual true width may actually be a bit deceptive because you need to look more at the number/density of mineralised lodes and breccias in the area and the grade of the intervening rock between them. Does it bulk up with a number of mineralised lodes and breccias such that the true width of any one lode is not so important? With porphyry deposits the individual mineralised veins are often very small but their density means the overall grade is suitable for mining. We already know from the drilling that there are a number of mineralised lodes and breccias and that there is evidence of large areas of mineralised rock between them, albeit at lower grade (sub-economic on its own).

I attach a couple of photos from my 1986 thesis. The chalcopyrite breccia ore is from the north-western extension (over 200m away) of the sulphide shaft line and indicates a possible significant length of high grade breccia may be present at depth. My view is that Granite Flat is a porphyry system. There are large areas of highly fractured and altered rock with mineralisation present. There are several phases of alteration and mineralisation and the distribution of the economic grades will take time to study until a predictive model can be successfully used for exploration.

Photo above of chalcopyrite breccia from Granite Flat. Chalcopyrite has replaced breccia fragments and also cemented fragments together and in places chalcopyrite is 10+ of the mass. The orange on the left on the wavy ore fluid interface is siderite (FeCO₃₎with silica. The alteration on the right is sericite and quartz and probably predates the chalcopyrite.

The rock below is highly fractured and altered with actinolite veins with clay mineral casings with a quartz-sericite groundmass, altered feldspar phenocrysts visible. Also from Granite Flat.

yeah they did not claim. but its easily confused with a big fat juicy intercept if you don't know much about about drilling/geology.

Whats the point of drilling down dip other than to pump the stock price? IMO it's intentionally misleading.
