i noticed that the above thread started 2 weeks ago. i refer to the following part of the company's announcement
"Systematic underground channel sampling has been completed along the main development drive of the northern workings (a total of 96 metres). A series of 2 metre channel samples were collected along the
entire strike within the ore zone. Sampling has confirmed that the Maybell ore body is mineralized over its entire strike length, with better results including 26m @ 13.53g/t gold* and 8m @ 19.5 g/t gold"
the above assays were taken along the development drive. the drive was 96 m. the above assays represent 34 m of strike, so what were the assays for the other 62 m??????. what would be more significant, , is the width of the orebody. i also get the impression, that the channel samples, that the company mentions, a bit further down the report, are also "along strike". frankly, i think that this is somewhat misleading. "accross strike" would be more meaningfull
but then again, the norseman district, is full of rich orebodies, and the old central norseman, kept on finding more and more high grade ore, as and when it was required
happy punting, but i would not touch it
