Well, this is like saying Centro and coughing and saying "uh, I mean BNB".
The old adage is true - if I borrow a little, I am nervous. If I borrow a LOT, you are nervous.
THe Banks, collectively, cannot afford to let BNB or CNP go teats up, because that crystallises their losses on the balance sheet, forcing them to slide more abaccus beads from one pot to another, cutting bank profits (which we can see they jealously guard at the expense of ordinary Aussies who are paying for CNP, BNB, Tricom, Opes and other diasters via higher home loan repayments), forcing a slide in dividends, EPS, share price, and CEO bonuses.
There's little doubt that is $50B is at risk, this is a significant appendix to the credit crisis which people will seek to avoid via "review periods" and suchlike.
