My reading of the announcement is that MRL will still have to spend to build the spodumene plant. It is essentially a turnkey operation so this capex amount will come off the $US 1.15 bil. MRL is receiving. It is unclear whether all three stages are MRL funding responsibility. The only capex that will be jointly funded is the amount for the Lithium Hydroxide plant.
