Since the Laurel is a BCGA and not a shale formation , how do Buru and Oil Basins propose to exploit it ?
In the Piceance Basin in the US , which may be an analogue they employ fracture stimulated vertical wells on something like a 20 acre spacing , i.e. 12 wells per square km .
I don't think we can assume that horizontal wells will be used .
By the sounds of it there is plenty of condensate and natural gas liquids to help the economics but will it be enough to make it viable ?
