i tend to disagree with rusty about the price cus have paid for 3500 atm`s in this new deal.
its only my opinion, but cashcard [holding about 5000 atm`s] were taken over by some yank company a few years back for approx $350 mill. thats about $70,000 average per atm. also cus holding about 1700 atm`s is currently capitaised at about $124 mill , thats something similar, about $73000 per atm.
in the new deal they will get 3500 atm`s for $125 mill, thats about $35000 per atm, seems a good deal for cus to me.
i men MAQ is not gunna sell the atm`s to customers for what they paid for them. considering the time lapse and the recent boom in equity and prices.
this new deal means CUS will have 5000 atm`s , and if one can value the atm`s on an old cashcard valuation of $70000 then CUS should be worth more than $350mill because they have SPS up and running on top of their atm`s. and they now have mastercard international, bendigo bank and brencorp interested in them. in my opinion they are a bargain, and the market action this morning holding at 24c - 24.5c after the dilution effect seems to prove that
