Will be interesting to see Labor/Independents voter' s reactions when 1) cost of living continues to accelerate ( and now more fuel on the fire with his targetted wage rises), 2) the price of petrol continues to remain high which many said was Scomos fault ( like he could influence the global oil price), 3) floods and fires will always be with us despite any climate action policies) and 4) the Reserve bank ups the cash rate by at least a full 1% by years end with 0.4% predicted for the June Reserve Bank meeting, which is really going to hurt those with big mortgages. Can go from hero to zero quite quickly in this game

CPI in Canada is currently around 6.2%, UK 7.8%. I think global supply chain issues and the war in Ukraine have a lot more to do with cost of living pressures than our current govt...
