I generally buy to hold, but have started using trailing stops and this has increased my activity some what. I dont have time to be a day trader so I like to look hard and long. I use to subscribe to Wise Owl however I seem to do better using my own judgement. I've been cautous to the point my wife is now screaming "Just do it" as I have made money on all my stocks bought on gut feeling and lost only on the tipsheets. Not that I mind a good tip, in 2000 Friends told me about a stock and I put my all I had on it at the time, $500, they put their house on it. They became Multi millionaires and I became interest in the stock market. Anyway enough of that.
I have some more money to invest and thats going into two SPP, buying into a new company, and the remainder to top up an existing holding. SXP the most likely target.
On their web site SXP are creating a "Farmouts" setion, hence my question about farm in\outs. I couldn't recall any announcements as such so figured that they must be kicking around the idea, possible more details it at the AGM.
I think I'll go the "heads" while I learn a little more about options.
Cheers
Oscar
