I see no problem in a company having a small amount of hedging. There's no harm in that.
IMHO it's dangerous to limit your selection of gold stocks to only those that are 100% unhedged primarily because there are so few of them. Your basket will be very small, and the resulting selection may not be the best goldies available on the market in terms of management capabilities, cash flow generations, potential for resourse upgrades and exploration, etc.
There really is no harm in holding a goldie that's 10/20 % hedged...esp. is the hedges expire within 24 months...
You have a much larger basket of stocks from which to choose if your allow a bit of flexibility re your hedging requirements.
