    It may surprise you that I have better things to do than refresh HC every 5 minutes... Actually I don't at the moment but was otherwise distracted.

    So great, Arctic ice coverage is greater in 2008 than it was in 2007. In a steady state climate you would expect this to happen every second year so not particularly instructive. Here's your link again comparing 2008 to 1979 (earliest available). Would you look at that? Not that it proves anything, but equally insightful as what you presented. I'd have thought the info about record lows over the last couple of years might have set off light bulbs in your head, but clearly not.
