I've never seen that happen. Most likely just a bunch of traders recycling shares after a major announcement. You never get please explains in relation to trading activity that happens immediately after a price sensitive announcement as that is deemed the reasons for whatever trading activity occurs, only if it is in relation to trading activity that happens prior to the news or if it's in relation to the content of the announcement
