It is one of the higher volume days but it doesn't necessarily tell you anything.

It could be dumping - but then someone has to be buying also.

It could be a large trader trying to get in - they sell stock in order to get others to panic and sell lower thus allowing entry at lower and lower prices.

it could be bad news coming - possible if the recent buy orders for the Phu Kham fall over because of collapse for demand in China.

Volume alone doesn't really tell you anything.

I would say that it wouldn't surprise if tomorrow the s/p bounces back up making a short term (overnight) buy maybe worth looking at.
