    In addition to VW:

    Daimler had already announced that by 2022 all its vehicle models would be offered with electric or hybrid drive. This is the "right" time, said Daimler CEO Dieter Zetsche on Monday (11.9.17). The model "Smart" is to be delivered from 2020 onwards only as an electric car. As early as the end of last week, the car maker BMW promised to bring twelve pure electric models and 13 hybrid models to the market by 2025.
