thought it may be time to revisit the head and shoulders we discussed a few weeks back. The idea of a $22 -$24 target was met with as much resistance by hotcopper BHP holders as it was by BHP itself. The fact BHP rallied so far back up above the neckline is testament to what a strong little bugger BHP is. there's no denying she is a great company.
Nonetheless, the market is the market and the market is not good. the chart was telling anyone who was prepared to listen that she was headed for the low $20s.
tonight is not a pretty sight in the northern hemisphere. Europe, metals and the US futures all looking like a train wreck......but some slim hopes still lie with a rates cut in the US tonight and here tomorrow.
It's a tough game is this investing....don't worry I have been burnt enough myself earlier in the bear. I hope we are all watching and learning....![]()
