I actually believe I know a bit having worked for the company previously for over 7 years.

They have been profitable since inception, and that period covers some pretty bleak IT markets back around 2000 or so. At the moment they are still forecasting decent profit, so how you call this unprofitable and finished I have no idea.

In terms of a bench, my understanding is that the numbers are quite low compared to those of their peers.

I believe it's cheap, because it's yielding 17% on current forecast dividends, and has grown by a pretty large amount since it floated at $1. Sure there may be some reduction in profit in the next year or two, but I would still expect it to be very profitable.
