Now there was a 4.90% rise by the HUI last night. That means in the three days this week the HUI has risen from 301.35 to 335.62. That is a rise of 34.27 points - 11.39%.
Our XGD Gold Index after three days this week has risen from 4,779.2 to 4,824.8 That is a rise of 45.6 points - a paltry 0.95%.
No wonder many gold equity investors here are getting slaughtered. We go down faster than the HUI and don't get its rises.
