Think you might be being a bit tough on BLO, they don't actually run the rig do they, I thought the contactor would have done that. Unfortunately in this aea of the Taranaki the sort of problems BLO have run into seem to be more the norm than the exception. They do need to sharpen up their PR though and offer an explanation as to where they think the formation water might be coming from. If it is up the fracture we could be stuffed but if it is coming immediately behind the casing that might be something else. I don't know I am no expert. Bear in mind they have only been pulling up 300-400 barrels of fluid a day compared to the 28,000 barrels of mud that went into the hole so there is a lot of muck to come out yet. Perhaps they sucked so hard on the hole they pulled out the plug on the Kapuni. I wish!!!! JBC
