So the plot thickens.
There is definitely something strange going on here. This sell-off seems so completely unnecessary, as to be quite perverse. It makes no sense.
We are obviously missing a piece of the puzzle. I'm sure the underlying reason will be quite plain and simple, but only known to AA and his inner circle at this point. So is this just for their benefit, or in the best interests of all shareholders?
One Australian stock analysis website that I have seen, although not a big fan of either company, rates HUM shares as almost 50% undervalued and LFS as around 3 x overvalued.I wonder how many Bayer execs and board members went across to Cerberus with the purchase.
