A young lady had moved in to her boyfriends apartment. She brought with her a treasured old sideboard that had belonged to her grandmother.
The relationship eventually broke down and she moved out fully intending to arrange someone to pick up her sideboard. However, the boyfriend proved uncooperative and it seemed that he was never at home at a time convenient to collecting her furniture.
Months passed and she became more distressed at the thought of not having what was hers. This actually caused her sleeplessness, worry and headaches.
She realised her thinking was the cause of her problems, not the boyfriends actions. So she called him and told him that if it meant so much to him, he could keep the sideboard but to please take care of it.
He returned it to her personally. That clinging stuff isn't good for you.
