re: too much competition for obj Hi Jiggy
Could you expand further on your comment - such as what companies and their advancements etc.
I trade the the US market and as a result I have not been keeping up with with the Aussie market. OBJ is the only Aussie stock I have in my portfolio as I like their story. I had planned to be in for the long haul, maybe there could be something better.
Strong night last night in the US despite the rise in oil. The DOW, the NASDAQ and the S&P 500 all finished on their intraday high - just maybe we could be in for a Santa Clause finish.
Rumour: I hear a wisper along the grape vine of Caterpillar being a take over target early 2007. CAT is the 55th largest component of the S&P500 - A huge multinational corporation with a low P/E, lots of cash and a very nice dividend - Takeovers are very nice for the traders, but where in the long run does it all finish? Quantas has gone, along with a major shake up in the US airline industry, whats next????
