Yep, the present moment is the closest we can get to certainty.
The past soon becomes a memory that soon becomes inaccurate and biased.
The future is unknown, no matter how much we plan for it.

When people say: whereu do you know what will happen when you die?

I respond with: I'm reasonably sure about two things and hope for one.

The one thing I hope for is that my wife finds somebody to marry, so that she won't be lonely.

The two things that I'm confident about are:
My children will fight over what is left of my estate.
People who currently tell each other what an a-hole whereu is will be walking around telling each other what a great bloke whereu was.
