Even if we did move into space, how many people would we put up there ? A million people less on Earth wouldn't make much difference, and they would probably have to be fed from earth for several years.

We will probably have a nuclear war within the next 100 years, this will reduce the population significantly, but also reduce food growing capability too, so either way, we are all screwed. Make the most of today !
