not something I've seen on our political arena. the Nordic countries have a larger socialist lean than Australia ( not a criticism just an observation )
automated mining would be the test ground, its considered one of our big industries, and its well underway in Automated technology and implementation , Australian social movement is more deeply fortified in Unions than welfare, my guess would be that there is little likelihood of a Robot Tax in Australia anytime soon
