Even if it was not a misunderstanding, what does it say about any senior politician that he is rude to a shopkeeper?
Even if the shopkeeper had told him she hated the gillard government, anyone with a bit of nouse would simply walk away.
Snapping and being rude is the provence of uneducated bogans, not senior politicians. Its scary that we have such weak characters in positions of power.
The obvious question is; How would such a person perform in a serious situation? Not very well, it would seem.
In my experience real men of character are very slow to anger and abuse, no matter what the provocation.
