    Interesting comment - "So a hung jury does not mean he is innocent."

    Why not?

    If a jury cannot reach a verdict that means he is "not guilty". The corollary to that is that he is innocent.

    OK so if they want to test it with another jury that is fine. But until then he is innocent?
