If there's one thing the market doesn't like it would have to be uncertainty and a hung parliament is exactly that. Having said that I think the market will be pleased that Labor has lost its majority and can no longer rule with an iron fist like we saw with the RSPT debacle.

Excluding the influence from the world markets I think that the ASX will remain flat for most of this week and we should see some modest gains after the full results of the Fed election is known.
