Interesting too see some large buys go through the past few days, especially today. Seeing green on increased volume the past few trading days is nice to see.
Obviously an announcement over at our friends wasn't what many were expecting, it would've been great to give the entire sector a massive boost though. Sticking to BGS, whilst I'd obviously like to see a little more positivity to help sell the story to potential investors, we are able to see things progress and boxes being ticked off with every update.
I think BGS just became the obvious front runner to do serious deals after today, I don't see many more significant supply streams able to come online in/by 2020.
I'm anticipating a frustrating wait until PFS2 time, but hope with a resource upgrade allowing 4mtpa to come into play, combined with the OPEX likely to be significantly reduced as suggested by management previously and other areas further explored for improvements, we should then be looking at a much better NPV. I think this will be the catalyst for the BGS management to start negotiating serious deals. Up until then I'm sure price action will be frustrating at times, but this is the likely trigger that management is waiting on. Assuming a significantly higher NPV, we should be in a much better negotiating position to do a great deal for shareholders.
Hopefully a few things before then can give us a nice boost. I've been hilariously wrong at times though and learnt with BGS not to look too far ahead
