I think it terribly arrogant to "tell" the good people of Northam they are about to have a huge detention center of 1200 single men on their doorstep. I have the utmost compassion for the people living close to this situation and I would be very frightened for my family. Just have to think about a bush fire and safely evacuating of all these men. We don't even know who they are. This is just one scenario that would be very difficult to manage. How many Gillard supporters would want a detention center like this near them? Not many I would say. I hope the people of Northam get through to who ever is at the meeting tonight.

Gillard is not merely "connected" to the Fabian society. She is a member.
