Agree the big boys as you put it ,especially AGL will analyse the monetary benefits of owning and operating a coldry plant that can be scaled up in the 4 year time frame of receiving ERF funding.
Also AGL have to provide a carbon reduction agreement with Alcoa as part of the new contracts from 2014 regarding baseload power to Alcoa.
2 million ton coldry plant can be completed in the ERF of 4 years and achieve both funding and contractural state requirements.
AN ALTERNATIVE TO MONASH CAPITAL now exists.
