That was a joint hearing of the House Oversight Committee’s Subcommittee on Economic Growth, Energy Policy, and Regulatory Affairs and the Judiciary Committee’s Subcommittee on Crime and Federal Government Surveillance examining the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives’ (ATF) weapons legislation proposals.

Nearing the end of his question time, some unknown minor Republican Congressman blurts out "Why hasn't Hunter Biden been prosecuted !!!" to which the ATF witness correctly replied "I have no knowledge of that case".

The Rep then droned on with all the talking points that he could muster until the Republican Chairman shut him down.

He was cynically smiling all the time as he sought his 15+ seconds of fame.

Mere Republican theatre.
