Hunting Mereenie

Interested to hear RC is not ruling out acquiring the other half of Mereenie at the right price. I was thinking about how a clever operator might find this given the relatively limited cash on hand. Could anyone see RC signing a long-lead supply deal with IPL which he then uses to fund the acquisition? They did have that heads of agreement a while back, but I got the impression that RC wanted to wait as long as possible, to sign contracts when the East Coast really starts running short. I guess it would be a worthwhile trade-off to allow a relatively opportunistic acquisition from Santos if they are willing to flog it. Interested to hear thoughts, if anyone knows more about IPL tie-up especially.
