Myself and a few others refer loosely to the term "Hurley and co" - I wonder who "and co " could consist of??
I wouldn't mind betting that steve day is involved somewhere amongst it all.
I notice with interest that steve days new group - echo capital just happens to now reside in office space located in goldfields house - one of valads trophy assets in the cbd - having recently relocated echo here from its previous premises in crows nest/ St Leonards.
Call this a long bow if you will but I think it's food for thought - clearly it seems steve still enjoys a strong rapport with the valad boys.
For many reasons I feel hurleys future at valad is completely untenable such that the board should move to permanently rid the company of Hurley and co.
Any MBO deal should be treated with extreme caution/ suspicion IMO.
