It's hurricane season there - in fact some regions along the world's equator have two such seasons per year.
So long term the plant in that region has to be able to survive or be able to be re-built quickly and back on line.
Either way, if it can keep going after several events in a row, or if damaged, be repaired and producing water quickly both circumstances are a feather in our cap IMHO and wont escape attention given the aid implications/climate variability etc..
I see this as perfect resilience testing (albeit on steroids)
